Double-breasted tuxedos are one of our favorite models of tuxedos. Today's version of the double-breasted tuxedo is usually a bit slimmer than the 80's model, but since you are able to design it yourself you can choose just the way you want it. The normal standard of the double-breasted tuxedo is to go with piped pockets, but we really like the look of straight pockets. For the double-breasted tuxedo we would recommend to keep the details casual if you opt for a satin lapel. If you look for that contemporary double-breasted tuxedo look we recommend that you get trousers with a higher waist and two pleats in the waist, add a cuff on your trousers and make the length of your tuxedo trouser ankle short. For an additional sturdiness of your double-breasted tuxedo we also recommend adding a half floating canvas.
